Most cars and trucks are made with a steel body. However, a few vehicles are made with aluminum, fiberglass or plastic bodies too.

How do I know if Tactilian magnets will work on my vehicle?

Easy! A bit of Google research with the year, make and model of your vehicle plus the added search term “steel body” will likely turn up results that either confirm your vehicle as having a compatible steel body, or it will generate a bunch of results that have information about aluminum or plastic construction.

The most fool-proof way to verify is to simply grab a regular magnet from your home or office and check your vehicle by carefully applying it on the area that you wish to place your Tactilian magnet. We recommend using this method to be sure that you don’t discover that your vehicle has a non-steel body after you have received an order.

What if I placed an order and my Tactilian Magnets don’t stick to my vehicle? We use high quality magnetic material that is made in the USA so we are sure that if your magnets don’t stick, your vehicle does not have a steel body.

We do our best to try and prevent our valued customers from making a purchase that they can’t use. If you find yourself in this unfortunate situation, please follow these steps to return your order for a refund.

1) Place your unused new condition magnet(s) in their original resealable packaging.

2) Obtain your original order information.

3) Include a note with the name used on your order and the order number.
